Media Solution and Days Of Heaven Play The What's Up Lounge

Another night of really good bands at The What's Up Lounge and, unfortunately, another poor turnout.  While it's nice to move around wherever I want during the show, I would rather prefer to be weaving through a lot of people instead.  Seriously Mankato, for $5 it's worth checking these shows out.  If it's not for you, at least you are helping the bands get to their next destination.  There's always the chance that you will like the band and you can say you saw them live!

This show featured Days Of Heaven and Media Solution.  The Unit was also scheduled to be on this show, but was unable to make it.  The "Hit The Pavement" tour is featured in Revolver Magazine and presented by M7 Entertainment and anyone that follows music knows that meant these would be awesome bands!

Days Of Heaven started out the show at 9:30pm.  I hadn't heard of them before this show and like I mentioned above, they were one of those bands that I was glad I checked out!  The first song blew me away and I was immediately drawn in to their performance.  Even though there wasn't a lot of people there, it was still an interesting show with one woman giving the band shots and climbing up on stage.  Certainly fun to watch.  I commend bands that get up on stage and play a strong set no matter how many people are there.  I truly hope Days Of Heaven stop in Mankato again!

After a quick stage change, Media Solution started out their set.  If you wanted a super heavy, hard hitting rock show, then these would be the guys you would want to see!  The amount of energy they had on stage was amazing!  Just when you thought they were at their maximum, they turned it up even more!  They didn't care how many people were there and continued to put on an amazing performance!  Look for Media Solution to make a stop in Minnesota again and be sure to check them out!

Another great show at The What's Up Lounge that many people missed.  Let's step it up Mankato!

As always, get out and support live music and I'll see you out there!
